Our Impression
It is easy to forget that a place like Rosendals Trädgård exists in the middle of Stockholm. Surrounded by gardens, orchards and greenhouses on Djurgården, it offers something completely different from the traditional city wedding, without actually having to leave the city.
What makes Rosendal particularly interesting is how much of the wedding experience is connected to the place itself. Couples can exchange vows in the secluded Secret Garden, surrounded by tall green hedges, or move the ceremony into one of the greenhouses when the season or weather calls for it.
Dinner and celebrations continue in the greenhouses, where the setting naturally changes throughout the year. Food is very much at the heart of the experience, with menus created around what is in season and ingredients sourced from Rosendal's own biodynamic gardens as well as carefully selected growers and producers.
With weddings possible throughout the year and space for up to 120 guests, we see Rosendal as a beautiful choice for couples who want a relaxed garden wedding where food, nature and seasonality are genuinely part of the celebration, while still being close to central Stockholm.
