Timeless Weddings in the Heart of Stockholm
Our Impression
Location, location, location. Hotel Diplomat sits on one of Stockholm’s most iconic addresses, right on Strandvägen overlooking Nybroviken.
For couples looking for a city wedding, the hotel offers several elegant spaces for different parts of the celebration. Dinner, drinks and mingling can all take place under the same roof, with your guests simply heading upstairs at the end of the evening.
One detail that particularly stood out to us during our visit was the Library and the hidden feeling of Andy’s Cocktail Bar. We love venues that allow you to create different moments throughout the day, and this gives couples the opportunity to move guests from dinner into a completely different setting for cocktails and mingling.
Hotel Diplomat is perhaps not for couples looking for a grand countryside estate or a venue to completely transform. Its strength lies elsewhere: a timeless Stockholm setting, beautiful interiors, water views and the convenience and service of an established luxury hotel.
For us, it is particularly well suited to smaller, elegant city weddings where location, food and a seamless guest experience are the priorities.
