Our Impression
There are some places that look almost exactly like the Tuscany you have pictured in your mind, and Terre di Nano is one of them.
Set among the rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves of Val d’Orcia, this 19th-century country estate has everything we associate with an intimate Italian destination wedding: incredible views, warm Tuscan architecture, long dinners and the feeling of having escaped somewhere completely different with the people closest to you.
What we particularly like about Terre di Nano is the opportunity to make the wedding about more than one day. With accommodation on site and spaces for both indoor and outdoor celebrations, couples can bring their guests together for several days. From a relaxed welcome evening to the wedding itself and time together the following day.
Food is naturally an important part of the experience, with Tuscan cuisine, seasonal ingredients and local wines bringing another layer of the destination into the celebration.
With the possibility of hosting larger celebrations while still keeping that intimate countryside atmosphere, we see Terre di Nano for couples who want their wedding to feel like a true Italian escape, where the setting, food and time spent together are all part of the reason for choosing Tuscany in the first place.
